Hey guys. As some of you may know from my blog entry last summer, I am running a "3 Mobile Broadband" dongle which is surprisingly fast and stable. I rarely have any disconnects and the speed averages 120kbps.
What type of connection do you have, and what speed is it averaging?

we are on 24meg broadband with talktalk which is basically aol there the same company and it usually averages 20 meg to the 24 meg because we are close to the exchange unit so it stays at top speeds most of the time
That is crazy! How long does it take you to download a gigabyte?
well it takes about 1 hour to 2 hours depending on how many people are downloading at same time in house nd a music file takes around 40 to 50 seconds and an music album takes around 1.50 to 2 mins
That's incredible! I'm looking at 3 to 5 minutes a track!
i ment it takes movies 1 to 2 hours to download lol
Yeah... And I meant it takes me 3 to 5 minutes per music track!
well at my mums im on talk talk which is 8gb which cos i am like josh close to the isp exchange its runs around tht speed and at my dads im on virgin wat more cn i say

There's no such thing as an 8gb provider in the UK. Not for public usage anyway.

Still more than twice as fast as my ISP (3.6) which belts out a huge break-neck speed of 120kbps! lol
lol well its not gunna be as gd as a main line internet is it but at least u can do wat u need to do fella and i kno u wanted a main line but your area had a problem dint it
Mine downloads at 1.5Mb a sec!!! gotta love Cable!!
